: Villa Marilyn offers a picturesque location on a small residential estate in the mountains overlooking the pretty harbour town of L’Ampolla. Within a 10minute drive of the beach and amenities. Villa Marilyn is set in a fabulous Mediterranean gardens, with a private swimming pool. Villa Marilyn has been extremely well designed with a lovely garden, barbeque area, and a large terrace/balcony for making the most of the sunny days and warm evenings.
The villa has been finished to a very high standard, with excellent quality fixtures, fittings and furnishings throughout. The villa is modern, light and spacious, and very well equipped with everything you could possibly need for a luxury holiday. The large open plan lounge and American kitchen offer direct access to the large balcony terrace with magnificent views to the sea, an ideal location for ‘al fresco’ dining.
There is a small restaurant within a 5minute walk of the villa, offering high quality cuisine. The villa is ideally located for a quiet family holiday, or a romantic getaway offering beautiful views to the sea and mountains.

: The modern kitchen is fully fitted and well equipped with everything you need for an enjoyable holiday. There is a dishwasher, large American style fridge-freezer with an icemaker, microwave, kettle, toaster, oven, hob, a good selection of cooking equipment, utensils etc.
There is a television and DVD player. The television shows all the BBC, and ITV channels, as well as a selection of free channels, including some news channels and Eurosport news.

: The swimming pool is set in a lawned garden, with a large patio, leading to the barbeque area. There is plenty of outdoor furniture including 7 sun beds.
Description of the local area
: Villa Marilyn is located within a 10minute drive of the pretty harbour town of L'Ampolla. L' Ampolla sits on the edge of the Ebro delta and still retains its traditional Spanish fishing village charm, the walkways along the seafront make a lovely location for an evening stroll taking in the sea and harbour views. L'Ampolla has an abundance of restaurants, offerring both local and international cuisine and a reasonable selection of shops, including 2 supermarkets.
There are two sandy beaches within L'Ampolla itself and many more beautiful sany beaches and coves along the immediate coastline.
There is a railway station with a frequent and inexpensive service north to Salou, Port Adventura, Tarragona and Barcelona. There is also a daily train which travels south to Valencia.
Description of the Costa Dorada
: For a relaxing day out, the Ebro Delta nature reserve is within a 15minute drive and is truly stunning, it is world renowned for the rare species of wildlife and birds. The beaches are incredible, the sand dunes were used as the setting in the film 'Sahara' starring Penelope Cruz.
There are lots of routes to take up into the picturesque mountains, where you will find lots of pretty mountain villages and views to take your breath away!
The historical town of Tortosa is within a 20minute drive of the villa, Tortosa offers some stunning architecture as well as some tempting shops. There is a large popular market held every Monday through out the year.
The popular resorts of Salou and Cambrils are within 30/40minutes (by car or regular train service form L'Ampolla). Salou is also the home of to one of the largest adventure theme parks in Europe, the Universal Studios Portaventura, for children of all ages!
The historic cities of Reus and Tarrgona are all within a 45minute drive, they are bustling vibrant places, ideal for a spot of shopping, sampling the traditional tapas restaurants, or gazing at the architecture. Tarragona also has an impressive Roman amphitheatre.
And of course not forgetting the magnificent city of Barcelona, the influence of Gaudi has made Barcelona one of the most impressive cities in the world. The most relaxing way of getting to Barcelona is to take the train from L’Ampolla to Barcelona Sants (return ticket approx. 18Euros). The best way to see the city is on the open top tourist bus, we recommend you take the blue and red route bus touristic, this offers the most comprehensive tour of the city. You can get on and off the buses as often as you like to experience the sights and attractions (day pass approx. 20Euros, reduced fares for children).

Rental Conditions
: The villa is managed by a local English agent who provide a full pre-arrival administration service as well as a full in resort support service. All rental clients are given full directions to the motorway exit where you will be met on arrival and guided to Villa Marilyn. You will then be shown around the villa and familiarised with the area, and provided with an information folder, and contact numbers for any queries during your stay.
